Skill 3 – Expressing Opinions

Expressing opinions means sharing your thoughts, ideas, or feelings about a topic. In English, we often use certain phrases to start our opinion politely and clearly. At a basic level, these expressions are short, simple, and easy to remember.

Expression Example Sentence
I think… I think this movie is great.
I believe… I believe learning English is important.
In my opinion… In my opinion, the food is delicious.
I feel… I feel this book is very interesting.
To me… To me, this song is relaxing.

Skill 3 - Common Phrases for Asking Opinions
